What’s the difference between full spectrum CBD and isolate CBD?

When CBD is referred to as full-spectrum or whole plant CBD, it means that the CBD contains other cannabinoids found in the Genus Cannabis Sativa L. plant including CBN (Cannabinol), CBG (Cannabigerol), and THCV (Tetrahydrocannabivarin), to name a few. Along with these cannabinoids, Full Spectrum CBD also contains trace amounts of THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol), but in very low concentrations (up to .3%).
CBD Isolate, on the other hand, is simply a purified CBD that has been processed and extracted from the Genus Cannabis Sativa L. plant and isolated from the other cannabinoids. There are no trace amounts of THC or any other cannabinoids that would offer a variety of benefits. Due to these compounds being stripped from the CBD, it would make an isolate CBD less potent than a full-spectrum CBD. At Hemp Lyfe, we recommend Full- spectrum CBD as it has ultimately been proven to be more effective because of the full capabilities delivered in each compound.

Will CBD get me high?

No. CBD is a non-psychoactive component of the plant that possesses a wide range of benefits and does not cause a high, unlike THC.
